Emilie Gamelin Centre

The mission of the Emilie Gamelin Centre is to promote and make better known the history of Emilie Gamelin and of the Sisters of Providence in the Province of Quebec and around the world. Here are the tools we have at our disposal:

 

  • The Museum of the Sisters of Providence;
  • Activities and lectures, on demand, about Emilie Tavernier Gamelin and the works of the Sisters of Providence;
  • Pilgrimages;
  • Visits to the Motherhouse chapel and the tomb of Emilie Gamelin;
  • Echoes of Emilie, a bulletin that presents historic articles related to Emilie Gamelin and the works of the Sisters of Providence, here and elsewhere in the world, as well as testimonies and acknowledgements for granted favours. The bulletin is available to the public by mail, e-mail and online;
  • Souvenirs, a diversity of which, along with an assortment of items related to the history of Emilie Tavernier Gamelin and the Sisters of Providence, are offered.
